New Buys 1#

Hello! So ive done a bit of sale shopping lately sale shopping lead to buying stuff not in the sale of course! Plus Ive had an asos voucher for ages and the sales just gave me more reason to use it and buy more things for less!

 Black, white and grey cardigan (no longer on the website) - H&M - £7 reduced from £24.99 ( i know what a steeeeeel!) i was so happy when i saw this in store when i popped it to check out the sale last monday. i had to check the price tag twice £24.99 down to £14.99 down to £7 i snapped that up straight away! its super cosy and warm, i love the colours and the way different parts of the cardigan are knitted in different ways.

Tangle teezer (link here) - ASOS - £10. Ive seen soooo many tangle teezer reviews over the last year not all good and i just though you know what why not try it out for yourself and see if its worth the hype. ive only used it twice but i tell you this thing is a life saver it dosent pull your hair out like most hair brushes and the tangles just disappear. definatly worth its ten pounds!

Pink baseball top (Link here ) -ASOS - £12. asos baseball tops are in the softest material, they fit perfectly and are super comfy and really easily to style. Im not a big lover of pink if im honest i dont like the whole pink is for girls blue is for boys steriotype but pink is such a timeless colour and looks great with almost anything.

Denim pinafore dress ( Link here ) -ASOS - £14 reduced from £35 (again such an amazing deal!) Once again i spent ages on the asos website looking at their denim pinafore dresses trying to decide which one i wanted in my wardrobe it was a very hard decision! there are far to many amazing denim pinafore dresses out there! anyway as you can tell i decided on this one. best decision ever i love the fit of this dress and the material its in is such a soft deim.

what did you find in the sales or non sales ;)

Recipe; Marble chocolate crumble cake.

What you need;
 8oz (225g) butter, softened. (use a soya based spread if you cant have milk based spread)
8oz (225g) caster sugar.
8oz (225g) plain flour.
4 eggs
1tsp vanilla extract.
1tsp baking powder.
2floz (50ml) milk (Use soya or almond milk if you cant have cows milk)
1oz (25g) cocoa powder.

for the crumble topping;
41/2 oz (125g) plain flour
3oz (75g) butter
3oz (75g) caster sugar
3oz (75g) dark chocolate chips or roughly chopped chocolate bar.

9inch loose bottomed cake tin.

how to make ;

First off make the crumble topping by using your fingertips to rub together the flour, sugar and butter in a large bowl, mix in the chocolate pieces then put in the fridge while you make the cake.

Preheat the oven to 180degreesC and butter the sides and base of the tin. Cream the butter untill soft in a large bowl then add the sugar and beat till the mixture is light and fluffy.

whisk the eggs and vanilla extract together and gradually add the eggs to the butter and sugar mixture, beating as you go. to the mixture fold the flour and baking powder in carefully, add the milk and combine gently.

Split the mixture into two by putting half in a different bowl, to one bowl of cake mixture fold the cocoa powder in. then pour both cake mixtures into your tin and with a metal skewer place it into the mixture and move around slowly to create a marble effect (dont over mix though!). scatter the crumble mixture on the top of the cake mixture and bake for 50-60mins or until crumble is goldenand a skewer inserted into the centre of the cake comes out clean.

after 50-60mins remove from oven and alow to cool for 10mins. pop the cake out of the tin and allow to cool completely on a wire rack. then you can enjoy.

have it on its own or i recomend custard (alpro soya custard is just as good for those who cant have dairy!) its so good trust me!

hope you enjoy making and eating this cake!

New boots after 3 years

Boots; F&F at tesco. £18.00

Ive had my old boots for about 3 years I love/loved them they were super comfy and a treat to wear but the only problem was they wernt very waterproof which sucked and wearing them for three years didnt treat them very well the bottom was comming off. I decided this november I would seek out a good pair of ankle boots that would be weather proof as well as comfy. I looked round a few shops with no hope but on a trip to tescos for food i decided to have a quick look around the clothing and found these. They are water proof, comfy and black ankle boots I snapped them up straight away (not litterally of course I went there for food but you know what I mean) and the rest is history.

What Style of boots do you prefer?
